**ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY**

KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER) was granted Deemed-to-be-University status by the Government of India (MHRD) on 13th April 2006. **ABOUT THE COLLEGE**

KAHER’s Shri B M Kankanawadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya PG studies and Research centre, established in 1933 by Late Shri B M Kankanawadi, aims to revitalize the science of Ayurveda and its utilization by society. It is known for its academic excellence and dissemination to the community. The college includes a 281-bedded NABH accredited Ayurveda Hospital, GMP certified Ayurveda Pharmacy, and Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam incubation center. The institute has a Central Research Facility with an AYUSH certified ASU drug testing lab, Animal Experimentation Laboratory & Medical Research Centre.

The annual conference of Kashyapi Ayurveda Gynaecologists & Obstetricians Foundation’s Karnataka chapter International conference Janani-2024 will be hosted by KAHER’S Shri B.M.Kankanawadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya & P G Research Centre, PG department of Prasooti & Streeroga on 24th, 25th & 26th of October 2024 at KLE centenary convention centre, Belagavi, Karnataka, India.
