Event Messages:
From Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister of Uttarakhand
- Dehradun will witness an unprecedented event on Ayurveda during 12-15 December 2024–the 10th edition of the World Ayurveda Congress (WAC) and Arogya Expo.
- Over 5000 Ayurveda stakeholders are expected to take part in this 4-day event.
- The Arogya Expo in Dehradun is expected to see a footfall of over a lakh of people from all over the state and elsewhere.
- The event promises to be as attractive and rich as the previous ones for students, academicians, researchers, businesses, and all concerned with Ayurveda.

- Touted as the world’s largest platform for Ayurveda, the 9th WAC held in Goa in 2022 elicited a huge response from its stakeholders.
- The Government of India has been giving great priority to the AYUSH sector since 2014, led by Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi.
- The 10th WAC and Arogya Expo will be a landmark event that will improve access to Ayurveda for seekers across the world.
Event Theme: Digital Health – An Ayurveda Perspective
- This event will focus on the intersection of digital health and Ayurveda, exploring how technology can enhance the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda for modern wellness needs.

- Venue: Dehradun, Uttarakhand

Global Ayurveda Perspective
- Ayurveda is making a big comeback on the global stage. European countries like Germany have long held Ayurveda in high regard, and offer courses in the subject. Countries like Australia and Switzerland have recognized Ayurveda as a bona fide medical system, thereby allowing the setting up of Ayurveda clinics.
- The World Health Organization (WHO) has also taken significant steps to promote traditional medicine systems, including Ayurveda, through the establishment of the WHO Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar.
