Scope of the Journal

International Journal of Ayurveda360 (IJOA) is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the knowledge and understanding of Ayurveda, an ancient system of medicine originating in India. The journal aims to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, educators, and policymakers to explore and exchange insights on various aspects of Ayurveda, including traditional practices, contemporary research, and emerging trends.

Areas of Focus

  1. Ayurveda Samhita & Siddhanta (Fundamental Principles and Classical Texts): This branch focuses on studying the foundational principles, theories, and classical texts of Ayurveda, including the study of fundamental concepts, philosophy, and historical evolution of Ayurvedic medicine.

  2. Kaya Chikitsa (Internal Medicine): Focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the internal organs and systems of the body.

  3. Shalya Tantra (Surgery): Deals with surgical procedures for the treatment of diseases, injuries, and conditions using Ayurvedic principles and techniques.

  4. Shalakya Tantra (ENT and Ophthalmology): Specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders related to the eyes, ears, nose, and throat.

  5. Bala Roga (Pediatrics): Focuses on the health and wellness of infants, children, and adolescents, including preventive care, nutrition, and treatment of pediatric diseases.

  6. Manasaroga (Psychiatry): Addresses mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, and other psychological disorders, using Ayurvedic therapies and interventions.

  7. Graha Chikitsa (Psychiatry): Another department focusing on mental health issues, including stress, anxiety, depression, and other psychological disorders, using Ayurvedic therapies and interventions.

  8. Rasayana and Vajikarana (Geriatrics and Aphrodisiacs): Focuses on rejuvenation therapies to promote longevity and vitality, as well as treatments for sexual health and fertility enhancement.

  9. Agada Tantra (Toxicology): Deals with the diagnosis, management, and treatment of poisoning and toxicological disorders using herbal remedies, detoxification therapies, and antidotes.

  10. Panchakarma (Detoxification and Rejuvenation): Specializes in purification and detoxification therapies aimed at removing toxins from the body, restoring balance, and promoting overall well-being.

  11. Kayachikitsa (General Medicine): Similar to Kaya Chikitsa, this department focuses on general medical conditions, preventive care, and holistic health management.

  12. Dravyaguna Vigyan (Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy): Studies medicinal plants, herbs, and natural substances used in Ayurvedic medicine, including their properties, actions, and therapeutic applications.

  13. Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana (Pharmaceutical Chemistry): Focuses on the preparation, standardization, and formulation of Ayurvedic medicines, including metallic and mineral preparations (Rasa Shastra).

  14. Swasthavritta (Preventive and Social Medicine): Emphasizes preventive healthcare, lifestyle management, and community health promotion to maintain health and prevent diseases.

  15. Roganidana and Vikriti Vigyan (Pathology and Diagnostic Techniques): Deals with the study of diseases, diagnostic methods, and techniques used for the identification and classification of diseases.
