Archiving Policy

Archiving and Repository (Self-Archiving) Policy of the International Journal of Ayurveda360

The International Journal of Ayurveda360 is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of the scholarly content it publishes. This policy details our digital archiving practices and authors’ rights for self-archiving.

1. Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Assignment
Each published article is assigned a unique DOI through Crossref, ensuring permanent and reliable identification, consistent citation, discovery, and access.

2. Digital Archiving
To guarantee long-term preservation and access, all published articles are:

  • Preserved via PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) – a trusted system for OJS journals, which includes LOCKSS technology for automated and geographically distributed backups (https://pkp.sfu.ca/pkp-pln/)

3. Open Access and Long-Term Availability
All content is freely accessible worldwide without subscription or access fees. Archiving practices ensure permanent availability and reinforce global dissemination of Ayurvedic research.

4. Repository Policy (Self-Archiving Rights of Authors)
Authors are encouraged to self-archive their work in institutional, subject-based, or general-purpose repositories, as well as on personal or departmental websites. The following versions may be archived:

  • Submitted Version (Preprint): Before peer review

  • Accepted Version (Author’s Accepted Manuscript): After peer review, before typesetting

  • Published Version (Version of Record): Final published version on the journal website

No embargo period applies. Authors are encouraged to include a full citation and a link to the published version.
