Peer Review Policy

International Journal of Ayurveda360 

The International Journal of Ayurveda360 follows a double-anonymous peer review process to ensure fair, unbiased, and ethical evaluation, in accordance with COPE guidelines and recognized best practices.

Peer Review Process

  • Initial Editorial Screening – All submissions are screened for scope, formatting, ethical compliance, and plagiarism (using iThenticate via Crossref Similarity Check) before peer review.

  • Reviewer Assignment – Each eligible manuscript is assigned to 2–3 independent expert reviewers. Reviewer and author identities remain strictly anonymous throughout the process. 

  • Reviewer Responsibilities – Reviewers provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback; identify ethical or citation issues; and disclose any conflicts of interest.

  • Editorial Decision – The Editor-in-Chief holds final responsibility for publication decisions, which are based solely on academic merit, reviewer reports, and ethical standards.

Peer Review Timeline

  • Manuscript Acknowledgment & Reviewer Assignment: within 24–48 hours.

  • First Review Report: 7–12 days.

  • Revise & Resubmit (if required): 7–12 days.

  • Second Review Report: 7–12 days.

  • Final Revisions (if required): 7–12 days.

  • Acceptance & Draft Preparation: 3–4 days.

  • Proofreading & Publication: 8–10 days.
